UPDATES AND SITE INFORMATION
02-28-2009 - The RSS feed has really outdated my little updates down here... I'll probably stop adding to this list and perhaps take it off altogether. But for now... Mike's Convenience is still updating daily. I'm out on the rig so who knows when I'll get another Exodus page up. Maybe next casing break. "Sword of Valhalla" has been stripped from my comic's "to do" list and is now being made into a full fledged novel. I'm over 50,000 words in and still writing. If I stay on task I'm looking for a first draft by the end of march and hopefully publication afterwords, but we'll see. Till then, I'll keep writing comics, stop in and visit sometime. --Marty.
01-24-2009 - Finally had some time to do a little work on the site. Got the RSS feed working now and figured out how to upload image content to it by decrypting RSS data from another site and figuring out how to write widgets. I got their scammy little code figured out now so the RSS feed should start looking better and better as I go. Even if it wasn't working for you before feel free to hit the RSS link and get some spottedgeckgo syndicated content!
11-05-2009 - Doing Site maintenence all day today, there will probably be functionality issues but should be hammered out by comic upload time (I hope). Enjoy the new look!
10-06-2009 - New comics updated daily as always, still lots of work to do on Sword of Valhalla before I release page 1, but I promise it's comming. New facebook site and advertizing campaign.
09-16-2009 - Put in a new blog entry. Some photos of the car with front bumper, skirts, and wheels, check it out. Been getting a LOT of attention lately.
09-15-2009 - New blog entry with the current updates about what's going on in the world of Marty, check it out when you get time. Also 2 comics now updated daily, "malfuntion" and "mike's convenience" as well as another little treat that isn't currently on my update list!! Enjoy! I'll update the RSS feed tonight when I upload the comics.
08-31-2009 - Malfunction comics will be updated Daily!!! I'm sure there will be a hickup here or there but I'm set up to upload most days now, enjoy.

08-29-2009 - Uploaded a new blog entry titled "New Body Kit" with picks of the body kit and the front bumper installed. More on the way when I get back onshore.
08-23-2009 - New Comics Uploaded tonight. I've been wanting to put another blog entry up but I'm offshore and don't have a lot of time, hopefully one will be up soon.
08-17-2009 - New comics uploaded. Server problems caused a bit of a delay but they are up now, thank heavens. Noticed that my bookbinding how-to didn't have any images and resolved the issue. The new comic book is in the rough sketch phase so hopefully I'll be moving forward with that here shortly. Thanks for viewing and check back in on me!

08-08-2009 - Hello again. I've been tinkering with PHP and made the comic pages a lot cleaner, neater, and fresh. All the annoying links to strip numbers at the bottom have been removed and replaced with an actual working .php application. Some more revisions may still be made but for now I've got it working how I want it to. More to come this weekend!!!
08-01-2009 - Updated the broken feed, so it should be fixed and online in an hour or so, whenever that blasted bot gets around to checking on it, and there is a new blog entry about the future of spottedgeckgo.com
07-31-2009 - The site has been ripped up and re-designed for your viewing pleasure. Those pesky frames are gone and the Style Sheets are working again. Enjoy. Also, "My Bio" is now "Blog". Hope you all like the new design, more to come soon, and more comics on the way this weekend, so I'm gonna be busy busy.
07-26-2009 - 8 New comics uploaded. I'm still offshore, and really busy too. There's still a lot of work to be done on the new site upgrade before it can go live. I will keep you posted.
07-18-2009 - More comics, 8 new strips for u. Can't get to the bio stuff right now. This hitch offshore is pretty hectic and I'm cutting into my sleep time to get the comics delivered. Hopefully things will calm down soon and I can do more, but for now the bio has to wait on the backburner... if anyone's reading it anyways :P The development for the new web layout is also being delayed a little longer than expected, but hopefully I can launch the templates as soon as I get back onshore.
07-11-2009 - Updated the comics. 6 new strips and two intermission slides for your enjoyment. Nismo had her first drag race today and the outcome will be posted sometime this week under my bio.
07-10-2009 - Updated Blog entry "350Z Photoshoot" is now availible on the blog page, with updated photos. Also, spent the day working on the New and Improved SpottedGeckgo.com with PHP today. The next six months will be really exciting and I have a lot of -big plans- for the site, so check up on us once in a while, huh?
07-04-2009 - I have uploaded 8 new Malfunction comic strips today. A little early but I'm with my family tonight so I don't want to be worrying about a website upload later tonight. Enjoy them early!

06-28-2009 - 8 new Malfunction strips have been posted. There is a new comic in the works, this one will be hand-drawn, inked, and scanned, but it is not ready to be posted yet. Also we took the 350Z out to the track last night and I will have another blog up about the results later this week. Have fun, it's going to be a busy week for spottedgeckgo.com.

06-24-2009 - Updated the "My Bio" page and put a new blog on there about my car, check it out, click on 350Z on the bio page.
06-23-2009 - Did some basic site maintenance, like the home site loading with a black strip at the top and put up malfunction's thewebcomiclist.com rating on the malfunction homepage.

06-16-2009 - Added "Life in the Oilfield" to the "My Bio" page which will be used as a blog from here on out, so I will try to update it once in a while. I'm going to start documenting my little adventures and posting some pictures and what not, should be a lot of fun, so check it out sometime.

05-15-2009 - New Malfunction comics uploaded as of 04:00 EST. I'm working hard at it people. Trying to make amends for 2 years of nothing.
05-13-2009 - Contrary to popular rumors, Marty McConnell is in fact alive and living in southern Louisiana. Not just that, he's found time to start making updates to the site again, so stay tuned. New Malfunction comics have been posted and will again be updated on a regular basis. I've also created some new artwork that you may enjoy and as soon as I get around to getting a memory card for my camera, the ART page will be updated with new pictures and maybe some other goodies if you are very lucky. I love you all and I'm ready to make this page work, so tell a friend and stop in frequently. I need my fanbase and after killing it off at the end of 06, I'm ready for a revival.
09-12-2006 - I have added a bookbinding tutorial loaded with pictures of my Book of Shadows as an example to the Art and History page.

06-25-2006 - I am in the process(obviously) of revamping this site to make it look more professional. The revamping process will take some time but I want to get most of it done now while it is moderately simple to update. I also uploaded about 7 new robot comics this morning.
06-17-2006 - The Comics page has been updated, after a nice little 3 month break, with my new comic creation, Malfunction. Enjoy. This comic will be updated Weekly so please come back and visit.
03-16-2006 - I updated the bio with a page about my computer history. It should be a fun read.
03-12-2006 - The Wicca page has been updated with part of the Wicca 101 course. A little revision on almost all of the pages for a little better formatting and cohesion. There is still a lot of work to be done though.
03-08-2006 - A little bit of cleanup and content is on the way. Reved up the META tags, uploaded a poem, updated and prepared the Bio page, fixed the mouseover on my webcomic links. Put up just a bit more information on the movie. Everything seems to be running smoothly.
03-07-2006 - Updated the Wicca page and placed a Bibliography and a Wicca 098 course, though it isn't quite complete.
03-06-2006 - Uploaded some of my best artwork to the art and history link. The page is up and ready for viewing.
03-05-2006 - Day one of this website, and what a rough one it was. I've been working pretty much straight through for 13 hours, writing scripts, drawing pictures, having problems with the host. ehh, been a rough one, but everything is sorted out and the site is up and running, well, mostly. This site is a compilation of artistic talent as well as achievement. I hope to have the entire site up and running soon with all the content, but for now, well, excuse the mess. One of my comic strips is up and running and hopefully everything else will be right behind it. Enjoy!
